Test Protocol

Standardised 10m sprint procedure

Perform the test on a flat, safe surface with adequate space beyond the finish line. Use the same timing method and setup when repeating the assessment so that future results can be compared consistently.

01
Warm Up Complete a progressive warm-up before maximal sprint efforts.
02
Mark 10m Clearly mark the start line and the 10-metre finish line.
03
Starting Position Begin from a consistent standing start behind the start line.
04
Sprint Maximally Accelerate through the 10m finish rather than slowing before it.
