Test Protocol

Standardised 20m sprint procedure

Perform the assessment on a flat and safe surface with a clearly marked 20-metre distance. Use the same starting procedure and timing method when repeating the test so that results can be compared meaningfully over time.

01
Warm Up Complete a progressive warm-up before maximal sprint efforts.
02
Measure 20m Mark the start and finish lines precisely 20 metres apart.
03
Starting Position Begin from a consistent standing start behind the start line.
04
Sprint Maximally Accelerate hard and continue running through the finish line.
05
Recover Allow adequate recovery before attempting another maximal trial.
06
Record Record each valid trial and use the fastest valid effort.

Performance Interpretation

Your result will appear here after completing the test.

Important: The result is a measurement of the recorded 20m sprint performance. Timing method, start technique, surface, footwear, wind, athlete status and testing protocol can all influence sprint time. Use consistent conditions for future comparisons.
